On Android, Firefox requires a special adjustment in order to work securely with Canopy.

⚠️ Important: Starting with Firefox version 82, the browser no longer lets users install security certificates directly. Because of this, you cannot use the regular Firefox app safely with Canopy.

Instead, you’ll need to use the Firefox Beta browser and adjust one setting.

Steps to set up Firefox Beta with Canopy

1. Download and install Firefox Beta from the
   Google Play Store
   .

2. Open Firefox Beta and type about:config into the address bar.

3. Tap Go, then search for security.enterprise.

4. When the result appears, tap Toggle to switch the value from false to true.

✅ Firefox is now filtered and secured by Canopy. You can use it normally.
