Why can't I see images in my Emails?

Sometimes in iPhones and iPads, images and icons in Email bodies are replaced with small squers with question mark, due to privacy settings that conflict with the VPN.
it can be resolved by changing a settings in the Mail app.
  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap Mail.

  3. Tap Privacy Protection.

  4. Toggle off the Hide IP Address button
