How do I activate location sharing?

In order to track location and receive Location Alerts, location sharing must be allowed on the device where the Canopy shield app is installed.

To allow location sharing on iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app on the protected device
  2. Scroll down and select Privacy
  3. Select Location Services
  4. Select Canopy from the list
  5. Select Always

To allow location sharing on Android:

  1. Open the Settings app on shield's device
  2. Scroll down and select Location
  3. Select App permissions
  4. Select Canopy from the list
  5. Choose the Allow all the time option
