Canopy lets you temporarily pause internet access on a filtered device directly from the Canopy management interface.

This can be useful when you want to temporarily disconnect a device from the internet without changing its Canopy protection settings.

Note: Pause Internet is currently available for Android and iPhone filtered devices only.

Pause Internet Manually

1. Sign in to your Canopy management interface.

2. Open the Pause Internet tab.

3. Locate the filtered device you want to pause.

4. Turn the Pause Internet toggle on.

Internet access will be paused on the selected device.

Resume Internet Access

To restore internet access:

1. Open the Pause Internet tab in the Canopy management interface.

2. Locate the device.

3. Turn the Pause Internet toggle off.

Internet access will be restored on the device.

Schedule a Pause

You can also schedule internet pauses using the scheduling option currently known as Focus Time.

Use the scheduling options on the Pause Internet page to configure when internet access should be paused on the filtered device.

Notifications

When internet access is paused, the filtered device receives a notification informing the user that internet access has been paused.

When internet access is restored, the device receives another notification informing the user that internet access has been restored.

Supported Devices

Pause Internet is currently supported on:

• Android

• iPhone

The feature is not currently available for other device platforms.
