We're excited to introduce a new tool to help you manage your protected devices more effectively β€” Smart Tips & Insights, now available in the Canopy Dashboard and Canopy management app.

This new feature provides personalized suggestions and insights based on protected device recent digital activity patterns. Whether you're a parent, an administrator, or an accountability partner, these quick tips can help you make more informed decisions about how content is filtered on the protected device.

You’ll now see a small light bulb icon πŸ’‘ at the top of the Advanced Protection Settings section β€” right next to the title of the page.

On the web dashboard, it appears when you open a protected profile and navigate to Protection Settings > Advanced Filtering.

In the Canopy dashboard app, it's in the same section under Device Settings > Advanced Filtering.

πŸ’‘ What kind of tips will I see?
When you tap the πŸ’‘ light bulb icon, a helpful tip will appear based on recent usage patterns of the protected device. These insights are designed to offer gentle guidance and thoughtful ideas for parents, guardians, or accountability partners.

Each tip includes a short excerpt from our blog, along with a link to a full article offering in-depth advice related to your situation β€” whether it's about healthy screen habits, online safety, or fostering digital responsibility.
